What is/was your project about?
Mission is to demonstrate through the incredible power of plants and people, plants and and the interdependence of them all.
What issues do you or did you address?
”what issues DON’T we address!” !? :
- Climate change
- Sustainable communities
- Resource conservation
- Ethics
What moved you to take action?
Response to an ad. In a local newspaper and on the Pukka website.
What were the obstacles that you had to overcome?
A lot! Dreams are big, budgets small. Understanding the issues for climate change and reducing emissions – climate change vision and commitment to be carbon neutral by 2017.
What first prompted you to become interested in environmental issues and when was that?
Anne’s Parents always walked her amongst nature, but she grew up unaware of the potential to
work in this field. The spirit of the times (late 80’s/90’s), environmentalism started to resonate
with her…got a volunteering job at The Centre for Alternative Technology, Machynnlleth.
