We brought in the FuzziBunz™ brand into Hong Kong market, and actively promoted the use of reusable diapers to young Asian parents.  We informed them about the health hazard, the waste accounted and the saving of using cloth diapering.

We have been doing many trade shows, public events, store promotions, PR and various magazine interviews.  We have also developed a new line of reusable baby products (reusable wipes, reusable change pad, reusable mattress pad, etc) to reduce waste further.

We are aiming to convince as many parents as possible to change the trend of using disposable diapers to Reusable diapers.  One baby requires 6000+ diapers from birth to 24 months.  It takes about 500 years to decompose.

It is also a huge amount of toxic waste as no one dumped the solids and wraps it up nicely before trashing it. This ends up leaking into the ground and the animals eat various disease, virus, medications, and vaccines.  It becomes a bio hazard.  This is a huge amount of waste that can be reduced to nothing.

We are doing major promotions via ThreeSixty stores who have been very supportive of the initiative.  We have also expanded to many Chinese stores and websites.

During the 2008 HK Baby Show we informed 350,000 parents of the choice they have and the response has been astonishing.  Young Asians parents cared mostly about the waste reduction than the savings of using our products.  This was really surprising and refreshing, as Asians are usually regarded as not very eco friendly with their daily activities.

We have sold many thousands of diapers since we opened our company in 2007 and this has reduced the waste of disposable diapers on HK island and Kowloon buy a few tons. This is just the beginning, as we are selling worldwide.

We are also developing a new generation of the product made of recycle bottle (PET).  We will be using these fabrics soon.  We try to use mostly recycled material for our packaging as well.
